Construction works at Mostakbal City go uninterrupted despite Coronavirus

El-Mostakbal for Urban Development is closely monitoring and in direct contact with real estate developers and companies carrying out construction at Mostakbal City to make sure works go uninterrupted in the city, according to chairman Eng. Esam Nasef. 

“ We are ready to provide all assistance and facilities so as to overcome all hurdles and  handle all emergencies developers may encounter while proceeding with works amid Coronavirus pandemic.” 

Regarding precautionary measures taken by the company in response to the pandemic, he noted that masks and sanitizers have been distributed among workers installing utilities and building infrastructure. 

“ While no works have come to a halt inside the city, a rotating shift schedule is observed and fully-equipped ambulances on standby are at hand.” 

The precautionary measures enforced by the Egyptian state helped cut infection cases and saved the lives of citizens, he affirmed, while lauding the economic decisions taken in response to the crisis. 

“ The Central Bank of Egypt’s decision cutting interest rates is brave  and will give local companies all the ammunition they need to mitigate the financial crunch and help them avoid defaulting on their debts.” 

“ The whole real estate sector will take advantage of this decision, as it will incentivize real estate developers to take loans from banks and will bolster funding extended to real estate sector seen as a safe haven.”
