Incorporated to epitomize the close collaboration between the Egyptian and Saudi governments, the Saudi Egyptian Developers (SED) is poised to create a new entity  specializing in managing the assets of the company’s current and future projects, according to  chief executive Eng. Mohmed El-Taher.

SED is adopting a new strategy focusing on upgrading marketing, construction techniques and after-sale management, he told Osoul Masr Magazine.

“ That could be made possible by means of coping with rapid market alterations, fulfilling clients’ need and taking up latest technologies.”

“Changing marketing techniques, being in direct contact with clients and revamping the trademarks are taking center stage among SED’s priorities right now,” added he.

Additionally, specifications and spaces of housing units in some projects ought to be tailored to meet clients’ needs and the demand in the market, he explained.

“ During 2020 the company is working to deliver high-end after-sale services after coronavirus pandemic slows down in months to come.”

SED’s sales jumped tenfold late 2019 to EGP2bn in just six-month period, he explained, adding that the company managed to find solutions for all headwinds encountering the marketing of its projects.

SED has sold numerous units in the residential section of the 23-storey SECON Nile Towers built over 120,000 sqm and overlooking Maadi Nile, he elaborated.

With one tower being a five-star hotel and the other a residential building, the hotel is run by Hilton and is seen to be the first of its kind to be owned by both the Egyptian and Saudi governments.

“ The residential tower will be finalized late 2020, while the hotel will be inaugurated early 2021.”
