Emirates NBD Egypt launches 3 big Campaigns promoting Digital Transformation

Campaigns include competitions for Fawry users while integrating mobile banking acquisition and digital migration

In another step that Emirates NBD - Egypt has taken towards implementing a more digitized strategy, the bank has launched 3 grand scale campaigns focusing on digital banking.

The campaigns aim at encouraging the bank’s clients to use its online and digital features, ultimately saving them ample time otherwise required for a branch visit.

New campaigns in line with Emirates NBD Egypt’s strategies towards digitization

The bank realizes its integral role in the Egyptian market, therefore driving their focus to push for more digital transformation in line with the government’s strategy towards digitalization.

The campaigns launched in April and will run monthly till the end of the year including: Fawry Bill Payments, Mobile Banking Acquisition and the Digital Migration campaigns.

Fawry Bill Payments

Emirates NBD – Egypt will select 5 monthly winners among its clients to receive up to EGP 1,000 simply by making the highest number of Fawry bill payments through any of the digital banking channels, either the Mobile Banking App or Online Banking or Emirates NBD Branches’ ATMs.

The winner must perform at least two Fawry bill payments to be eligible to participate in the competition.

Mobile Banking Acquisition

As a way of encouraging clients to increase utilization of the Mobile Banking application, every month during the length of the campaign, Emirates NBD - Egypt will instantly reward the first 500 users to download and activate the mobile banking app with 10,000 reward points that can be redeemed through cash or vouchers.

The Mobile Banking application offers a unique banking experience for its users, enabling them to transfer money between Emirates NBD accounts using mobile numbers from the contact lists “mePay” service. The app also provides customers with a wide range of services and benefits, such as allowing them to transfer money in Egyptian Pounds between the bank’s accounts, which reflect immediately regardless of weekends and official holidays.

Digital Migration

Last but not least, Emirates NBD – Egypt offers its clients on monthly basis the chance to be the lucky winner of a gold bar. The prize is awarded in reference to the highest number of Fawry bill payments, transfers & credit card payments through any of the Digital Channels.
