MARAKEZ to Sponsor Egyptian Athletes at Upcoming Tokyo Summer Olympics
MARAKEZ, one of the largest mixed-use developers in Egypt, signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Athletics Federation representing the Ministry of Youth and Sports to sponsor Egyptian athletes who qualified and who are being qualified for the Tokyo Summer Olympics taking place July 23 - August 8, 2021.
The sponsorship memorandum of understanding was signed at The Park of Mall of Arabia by Dr SeifAllah Shahin, the head of the Egyptian Athletic Federation, Ashraf Maklad, MARAKEZ Chief Marketing & Innovations Officer and in the presence of the technical Director of the Federation, Dr. Mohamed AbdelRaouf Diab, Captain. Wessam Sayed, the coach of the national team as well as Hesham Shoukry, MARAKEZ Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, Mostafa Kholief, Director of Mall of Arabia and the Egyptian shot-put athletes Mostafa Amr and Mohamed Magdi Hamza.
Egyptian Athletic FederationPresident Dr. Seifallah Shahin stated that MARAKEZ’s sponsorship of Olympic athletes is a major step towards garnering positive results in the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
