Valu partners with Landmark Group to finance purchases of the latter’s brands

Chief Executive at EFG Hermes’ Non-Banking Financing Department Walid Hassuna expressed his pleasure for signing a new partnership agreement with Landmark Group to finance customers’ purchases of brands run by Landmark Group in Egypt, namely Max, Home Center, Splash and Baby Shop.

Landmark Group owns outstanding brands in sectors falling within the scope of Valu’s expansion plan and drive to attract as many customers as possible. Landmark’s future plan focuses on salifying its presence in all governorates of Egypt.

Landmark Group’s key objective zeroes in onorganizing e-payments and supplying customers with as much funding as possibleto help them go ahead with their purchases encompassingvarious sectors, he explained.

“ The company eyes the sectors that are active on daily basis and connected to customers’ daily lives, be they clothes, furniture or tires, and lately home finishing, as the company’s minimum funding of EGP500 for purchases may be raisedto EGP200,000 and EGP290,000.”

Valu’s success rests on the customers’ belief and conviction of it as a helpful tool for supporting their own businesses and increasing the customers’ appetite for buying products.

General Regional Manager at Landmark Group Mohamed Moursi said that the group has been working in Egypt and the Gulf States for up to 47 years via more than 15 brands, including 4 in Egypt, namely Max, Splash, Baby Shop and Baby Home. Consequently, the group seeks to augment its sales in the period to come by 10 to 15 percent, in order to keep pace with its nationwide expansion plan.

Cooperation with Valu will trigger leaps inthe brands’ sales and customers, particularly in areas of clothes and furniture, as the company seeks to increase its branches in 3 years, from 22 to 60, he added.
