Foreign property shows lack in marketing, Expo Republic chairperson
Chairperson of Expo Republic Basim Kalila said that property exhibitions held abroad lack in marketing, information and the availability of data.
"Tools for marketing are available and we need a huge number of housing units ... We have housing projects put up for sale ... We, as specialists in foreign property shows, are falling short of promotion, the availability of information and data," said he.
Egypt is competing with several nations, such as Dubai, Cyprus and Turkey, whileproperties in these countries are not as varied as in Egypt. "Conversely, investors there are provided with incentives, whereas 99 percent of housing units here are sold out without being fully finished, posing a challenge for the investor."
" We try to open new markets in the Gulf States, where Egyptian expatriates reside and we hope the state help us," he continued.
