Ahmed Sabbour: Developers' participation under MOHUUC at MIPIM strengthens Egyptian enterprises' credibility
Eng. Ahmed Sabbour, Chairman of LMD , confirmed that the participation of real estate developers under the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities (MOHUUC) at the MIPIM Exhibition helps to strengthen Egyptian enterprises and emphasise their credibility in the eyes of foreign investors and real estate funds.
He told 'Osoul Misr' in an exclusive interview on the sidelines of the MIPIM Exhibition that "developers who attend the exhibition improve their expertise, learn the most up-to-date methods of implementation and marketing, examine the winning projects for uniqueness and new thinking, and finally demonstrate the strength of the Egyptian market as home to a large number of notable real estate developers."
Ahmed Sabbour: 4 gains for developers participating in the MIPM Exhibition
"I attended the MIPIM for the first time in 2004, and I acquired a lot of innovative ideas that are later applied in LMD projects," he continued.
Ahmed Sabbour stressed that Egypt's participation in MIPIM, the world's leading real estate market event, helps to introduce global investors to Egypt and its potential and key projects.
"The number of Egyptian enterprises participating at the Exhibition this year astonished me; I had assumed there would be no more than five. On the other hand, the actual number of participating firms reflects the MOHUUC's efforts to attract serious developers to the Exhibition, as well as Egypt's well-prepared participation," he concluded.
The Egyptian government, represented by the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, is taking part with a special pavilion that showcases a number of distinctive projects in new cities, including the New Administrative City, the New Alamein City, and the New Mansoura City. Efforts to develop existing places in old cities, such as the Magra El-Oyoun Fence development project, the Promenade for Egypt's People project, and others, are also featured in the Exhibition.
Thirteen real estate developers and engineering offices are participating in the Exhibition, including City Edge, GV, Tarbul, Palm Hills, Mountain View, Sodic, Tatweer Misr, LMD, Castle Landmark, Al-Borouj Misr, Prime, Pavilion, and Okoplan.
