SODIC Sponsors CIB World Squash Championships 2022

128 international players competing under one roof at Club S Allegria from the 13th to the 18th of May

SODIC, a leading real estate developer in Egypt, sponsors “CIB World Squash Championships 2022”; the largest tournament in the history of world squash, which will span over the period from the 13th to the 22nd of May, 2022. 

The first three rounds of this championship are bound to take place at Club S Allegria in Sheikh Zayed City, operated by SODIC Sports Management Company, from the 13th to the 18th of May, while the final rounds will be held at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization from the 17th to the 22nd of May, 2022.

In this context, Magued Sherif, SODIC’s Managing Director, stated: “We certainly take pride in sponsoring CIB World Squash Championships 2022 for the 1st time, and welcoming over 120 world class champions in our home courts. Being a sports advocate has always been part of SODIC’s ethos. We are keen on supporting the Egyptian champions, who can sustain Egypt’s position at the forefront of the global squash scene.”

Commenting on the same matter, Amr Shabana, the six-time World Squash Champion and Club S CEO, asserted: “It gives me great pleasure and pride, as a former squash player, to witness Egypt hosting CIB World Squash Championships 2022. Simultaneously, it is an honor that the first three rounds of the championship will be hosted at Club S Allegria, our unmatched, fully equipped squash courts that are commensurate with the international standards.”
