SODIC backed Ali Farag & Hania El Hammamy take home championship titles

SODIC sponsors fourth edition of CIB Egyptian Squash Open

SODIC, the leading Egyptian Real Estate developer, sponsored the fourth edition of “CIB Egyptian Squash Open 2022”, where SODIC’s very own champions Ali Farag and Hania El Hammamy won first place in the tournament.

The Championship was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation.


The first three rounds of the championship took place at Club S Allegria at SODIC’s flagship project in West Cairo , from the 19th to the 21st of September, while the final rounds were held at the Giza pyramids complex, from the 22nd to the 25th of September 2022, with the participation of more than 96 of the world’s best squash players from around the globe, competing for the championship titles.


Congratulating the champions, Magued Sherif, SODIC’s Managing Director, stated: “It was an honor to sponsor the CIB Egyptian Squash Open 2022 for the first time and host over 96 champions on our squash courts at Club S - Allegria. SODIC is always proud to support squash, a sport with such a dominance of Egyptian world champions. We are especially proud of Hania and Ali for their stellar performance and sportsmanship”
