A plan to transform Paris into an environmentally friendly green city
France has developed a plan to transform Paris into a green and environmentally friendly city، by implementing more than 500 procedures in the fields of energy، construction and transportation، with the aim of reducing the proportion of carbon emissions in the air by % 50 by 2050، planting trees، gardening and creating green areas at the entrances to Paris، as well as reducing the number of billboards that consume energy.

Anne Hidalgo، Head of Paris Municipality، announced a plan to transform Paris into a green and environmentally friendly city، especially after the temperature exceeded 40 degrees Celsius several times، causing forest fires to break out in southwestern France and the evacuation of hundreds of people from their homes.
Measures to confront climate changes
The French government has to take some measures because of these climate changes to reduce the risks of high temperatures، particularly in the capital، Paris، as the rate of its energy consumption decreased by only 5% in the last 15 years، despite plans to reduce it to 25%.
Providing all Paris residents with renewable energy
Regarding sustainable transportation، a project will be launched to encourage bike mobility and reduce the use of cars in Paris، where about 130 km of additional bike paths will be allocated until 2026، while preventing driving cars during holidays، and reducing traffic routes from 4 to 3 routes.

The municipality of Paris strives، through the plan، to reduce temperatures with the green belt project، which depends on planting trees on the road around the city، to reach 17 thousand trees by 2026 to act as natural coolers، and to cover all school yards with plants to mitigate the repercussions of climate change by 2050.

In addition to thermal insulation plan for the roofs of residential buildings، it succeeded in reaching 55 thousand apartments، while this measure saves 54% of energy، reduces heat emissions by 56%، and makes buildings environmentally friendly.

Among the other projects that the municipality of Paris will implement to reduce pollution and climate change is the installation of double panes of glass on the windows.
Thermal insulation for residential buildings roofs and ceilings
The production of green hydrogen has recently، a new project in northern France، where the Lhyfe company in France intends to build a second plant to produce green hydrogen from renewable energy sources، which is supposed to be operational by the second half of 2023، after the company obtains permits and approvals and a plot of land of about 6800 square meters has been allocated to launch this project، next to a wind energy farm.
