الأربعاء، 24 أبريل 2024 06:46 م

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، who warns that his troops must achieve complete victory over Hamas، has insisted to establish enormous tent city and to evacuate the more than one million Palestinians who have sought refuge in Rafah، the last standing city in the Gaza Strip، before his six-week invasion of Rafah operation that will likely start in May، as around 80% of the territory's population have fled to other parts of the besieged coastal enclave، while US warns Hamas is aiming for full-scale regional war.

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، has begun building an enormous tent city to house refugees as new satellite images appear to show the enormous tent city which will accomodate the refugees after evacuating them from Rafah، the last standing city in the Gaza Strip.

The massive، walled compound of tents for more than 100 thousand people

The massive، walled compound of tents، which could hold more than 100 thousand people، near Egypt border with the Gaza Strip، reportedly in preparation for a mass influx of Palestinian refugees fleeing Israel’s expected invasion of Rafah as Satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies show cranes، trucks، bulldozers and other construction equipment along the Sheikh Zuweid-Rafah road in the Sinai Peninsula، about two miles west of Egypt’s border with Gaza.

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، announced earlier that the army must achieve complete victory over Hamas، although many countries and organisations، including the United Nations، the UK، the US and nations across the Middle East have warned of the humanitarian catastrophe that would occur once Israel begins its attack.

Preparing a marked build up of tents for displaced civilians flee Rafah

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، revealed that photos from satellite imaging company Planet Labs show a marked build up of tents، in case displaced civilians flee Rafah، in a uniform pattern near Khan Younis، which has largely been levelled during the bloody invasion of the Gaza Strip by Israel's military، while people evacuating from Gaza Strip rush to landing humanitarian aid packages dropped over the northern Gaza Strip.

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، has said several times that he plans to evacuate displaced civilians from Rafah ahead of a six-week military operation that will likely begin in May، while the satellite imaging company Planet Labs photos، taken three days apart on April 18 and April 21 respectively، show white structures being built up significantly over a short period of time.

Hamas is gearing up for a full-scale regional war

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، wants to establish enormous tent city as soon as possible as the US says that Hamas is gearing up for a full-scale regional war، while Egyptian officials told the Wall Street Journal that the first few weeks will be dedicated to evacuating refugees to Khan Younis and other areas equipped with shelters and medical facilities، while the tents compound may be large enough to take in more than 100 thousand people from Gaza if Israel launches offensive against southern city.

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، assured that Hamas was moving the goalposts in hostage and ceasefire negotiations، and the terror group declined a very significant proposal، though he did not specify what this was but it certainly does seem like Hamas is more interested in a full-scale regional war and right now Hamas has signalled that they don't want an agreement.

Israel and the US against Iran and allied militant groups across the Middle East

Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، stated that the

conflict has sparked regional unrest pitting Israel and the US against Iran and allied militant groups across the Middle East، while Israel and Iran traded fire directly this month، raising fears of all-out war as other groups have been drawn into the wider conflict as well، with an elite Hezbollah commander being killed in an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon on Monday and many relatives of Palestinians lost their lives as a result of many Israeli airstrike.

The war was sparked by the unprecedented October 7 raid into southern Israel in which Hamas and other militants killed around 1،200 people، mostly civilians، and abducted around 250 hostages، but Benjamin Netanyahu، the Israeli prime minister، says militants are still holding around 100 hostages and the remains of more than 30 others.

Building the tents gated area، surrounded by seven-metre-high walls

This week the Sinai Foundation for Human Rights said two

contractors told it construction firms had been tasked with building the gated area، surrounded by seven-metre-high walls and the NGO also released a video showing a crane lifting and placing precast concrete panels along the road as the construction is intended to create a high-security، gated and isolated area near the border with the Gaza Strip، in preparation for the reception of Palestinian refugees in the case of mass exodus.

This area was being prepared in case of a breach of the Gaza border، which Egypt has already fortified with additional walls and buffer areas since the war began and the area will be readied with tents and humanitarian assistance would be delivered inside، as Benjamin Netanyahu warns that the Israeli military is expected to bombard Rafah، a border city that straddles both Gaza and Egypt، which is now home to 1.5 million Palestinians، according to a UN estimate.

Hezbollah and allied groups have been clashing with Israeli forces

The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and allied groups have been clashing with Israeli forces along the border for more than six months against the backdrop of Israel's war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip،as the Israel-Hamas war has killed more than 34 thousand Palestinians، around two-thirds of them children and women، and another 77 thousand have been injured، according to local health officials، and it has devastated Gaza's two largest cities and left a swath of destruction.

Meanwhile، the US House of Representatives approved a $26 billion aid package on Saturday that includes around $9 billion in humanitarian assistance for Gaza، which experts say is on the brink of famine، as well as billions for Israel and the US Senate could pass the package as soon as this week، and President Joe Biden has promised to sign it immediately.
