El Batal Developments announces 2024 expansion with EGP 6bn Rock White project in New Heliopolis

El Batal Developments launches Rock White، the Sixth Project in the Rock" Series

El Batal Developments has announced its first expansion in 2024 with the launch of the Rock White compound in the heart of New Heliopolis City، with investments amounting to EGP 6bn.

This announcement was made during a press conference held by the company، attended by its leaders and a group of media professionals and journalists.

Total investments

Emad Doss، CEO and Managing Director of El Batal Developments، stated that the Rock White project is part of the company's expansion plan previously announced. It is one of five major projects in East Cairo that the company is preparing to launch in 2024، with total investments exceeding EGP 10bn.

He added that El Batal Developments will undertake all development، construction، and marketing activities for the Rock White project. This project is being developed in partnership with National Asset Management and Investment Company.

The Rock White compound is situated on an area of 25.52 feddans in the heart of New Heliopolis City، just one minute away from the Suez Road and directly on the Baron Axis. The project enjoys a location close to Cairo International Airport and several strategic health، educational، and sports services.

Doss continued، "El Batal Developments ensured that the built-up area does not exceed 10% of the total land area for the project. The total built-up area is 116،000 sqm، while the remaining spaces are allocated for commercial services، green spaces، gardens، and landscaping. The landscaping and gardens cover more than 30،000 sqm."

A residential section

He pointed out that the Rock White compound includes a residential section comprising 30 buildings with a total of 770 fully finished units، with sizes ranging from 117 to 236 sqm. The variety in sizes aims to meet the diverse needs and tastes of customers.

He added that the commercial section of the Rock White compound includes a supermarket، a bank، a pharmacy، various shops، a sports yard (tennis and football)، and a children's play area.

El Batal Developments aims to begin delivering units in the Rock White compound by December 2028. The project will be launched in four sales phases، according to Doss.

Sharif Samy، Chairman of the National Asset Management and Investment company، stated that El Batal Developments، one of the major developers in the real estate sector، will collaborate to deliver a project that adds value to the market. Samy noted that the Rock White project is being developed on a plot of land owned by the National Asset Management and Investment company in a prime location in the ninth district of New Heliopolis City.

He explained that the National  Asset Management and Investment is an Egyptian joint-stock company owned by the Holding Company for Construction and Development، which is affiliated with the Ministry of Public Business Sector. The company was established in 2008 and has expanded in the field of asset management through real estate investment، evaluation، marketing، and offering various services.

A distinguished developer

He added that his company announced its intention to partner with a distinguished developer with experience and a proven track record. Several proposals were submitted to the company، and El Batal Developments was selected based on its experience and the best technical and financial offer among the submissions. 

Doss mentioned that the targeted sales for El Batal Real Estate Development Company's projects in 2024 are approximately EGP 4bn. The company achieved total sales registered EGP 3bn in 2023.
