French President Emmanuel Macron's recent visit to Egypt demonstrated the strength of the strategic relationship between Egypt and France. It also highlighted Egypt's political and security stability and presented it as an ideal investment destination. The bilateral meetings and economic discussions held during the visit demonstrated that Egypt has become a "country of opportunities" in various sectors, most notably the real estate sector, reflecting the development of the country's business environment.
In a statement, the Real Estate Development Chamber of the Federation of Egyptian Industries emphasized that the French president's visit to Egypt sent several important messages to the international community, most notably that Egypt is a country of opportunity, security, and stability. It also emphasized the Egyptian people's love and support for their political leadership and their full support for it.
Engineer Tarek Shoukry, Chairman of the Real Estate Development Chamber, emphasized that the French president's visit reflected the state of investment, political, and international consensus between Egypt and France and contributed to highlighting Egypt's true image and its stable situation.
He continued, “The tour of the Egyptian and French presidents in Al-Hussein and Khan el-Khalili, and their walk through Cairo's busiest streets, carried a clear message to the world that Egypt is stable and secure, and that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi enjoys widespread popularity and appreciation among the people, which refutes the lies being promoted by paid mouthpieces inciting against Egypt.”
He added that the visit also highlighted the agreement between Egypt and France in rejecting the displacement of our Palestinian brothers and the necessity of reconstruction in Gaza. The affirmations of the French president and the Jordanian monarch reflect the soundness of Egypt's position on the Palestinian issue from the beginning.
He explained that on the economic level, there was widespread praise from French investors during the Egyptian-French Businessmen Forum for the opportunities and investment climate in Egypt, the measures taken by the state over the past years, and the major projects implemented in the areas of infrastructure, new cities, and others, which have made Egypt an attractive investment destination.
Engineer Tarek Shoukry praised President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's messages to the world during his speech at the forum, in which he affirmed his full support for local and foreign investors. He also noted that Egypt is an opportunity, a fact everyone now recognizes, given its major projects, stable climate, and availability of labor.
He explained that these factors will positively impact all economic sectors in Egypt, including the real estate sector, which is linked to more than 90 industries and offers significant investment opportunities. The forum also discussed investment in economic sectors, including technology and clean energy, which are currently directly linked to the real estate sector, with developers adopting green building mechanisms.
He added that French businessmen expressed interest in investing in several sectors in Egypt, including education, energy, technology, health, and others, and emphasized their desire to invest in Egypt as a stable and secure country. Engineer Tarek Shoukry concluded his remarks by saying that Macron's visit demonstrated that Egypt is witnessing a major shift toward stability and economic development, strengthening its position as a regional power attracting global investment. The visit served as a confirmation of the international community's support for Egypt's steadfast positions on regional and global issues, while emphasizing the pivotal role Egypt plays in achieving stability in the region.
