A commercial recreational complex to be built inside Mostakbal City, chairman

El-Mostakbal For Urban Developments has finalized an overall layout for a commercial recreational  complex to be built  at the center of New Cairo’s Mostakbal City on 900 acres, according to  eng. Esam Nasef. 

The  complex is designed to pass through Mostakbal City’s five phases. The first phase,due to be built on 150 acres and consisting of a sporting club, a hotel and a restaurant area, sporting academy and gardens, has fashionable  innovative designs, said Nasef to Osoul Misr Magazine. 

A 1 km long commercial pathway, made up of four-storey buildings and consists of multi-purpose activities, may be finished within 12 months, he noted. 

“ With it equipped with variable control systems, Mostakbal City will be an example of upscale  green smart cities,” said he. 

For example, residents will be able to take note of public transport arrival and departure dates, as a bus stop is scheduled to be created in front of main gates of each compound inside the city, he explained. 

Water consumption inside the city is rationalized by means of using smart water and electricity meters as well as special valves to control water utilized in irrigating gardens. 

Additionally, El-Mostakbal For Urban Development is charged with catering for means of transports. 

“ With the aim of protecting riders from road accidents, setting up special lanes serving cyclists is being put into consideration.” 

El-Mostakbal For Urban Development has put in pace rules governing how services may be installed inside the city, as these rules are made to be followed by all developers, he elaborated.
