Chairman of world leading real estate exhibition Mipim visits Egypt's pavilion
"Shopper" hailed the marvelous achievements taking place in the New Administrative Capital and New Alamein City in the face of Coronavirus headwinds
Christopher Shopper, Chairman of global real estate exhibition Mipim, toured the Egyptian pavilion at the exhibition which takes place in the French city of Cannes.
Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects Eng. Khalid Abbas showcased the real estate projects on display at the exhibition, whether those carried out by the state or by the privately-owned exhibitors.
During the past two years, Khalid Abbas clarified, the political leadership's directives stressed the need to go ahead with all projects and to take the necessary precautionary measures in the process while keeping the economic performance intact despite coronavirus headwinds. Therefore, the Egyptian state, be it the government or the private sector, managed to achieve a remarkable progress across the real estate sector and its wide-ranging projects.
Abbas displayed some photos to Mipim chairman depicting the real estate projects taking place in Egypt, whether those that were on display during the previous edition of the exhibition dating back to 2019 or those delineating the current executive situation of these projects, including the Central Business District, the Green River at the New Administrative Capital, together with the beachfront towers in the New Alamein City, which draw Mipim Chairman's admiration as well as appreciation of the huge achievements that were turned into a reality despite the pandemic.
Further still, Mipim manager toured the private real estate projects and listened to explanations about the magnitude of the achievements.
It's noteworthy that Ministry of Housing is taking part in this year's Mipim Exhibition through exhibiting mega projects, hand in hand with 13 real estate and consulting developersو with the aim of showing off the progress and achievements accomplished in this sector, together with attracting foreign investments.
