Magnom Properties partners with UNICEF to digitally empower Egypt’s young people

The partnership aims to empower children and youth، bridge the digital divide by providing internet access and digital training for Egypt’s youth

Magnom Properties، the real estate developer of FORBES International Tower، is partnering with UNICEF to support young people’s empowerment in Egypt، bridging the digital divide and providing a wide range of skills development opportunities to young girls and boys.

A partnership agreement signed by Maged Marie، CEO of Magnom Properties، and Jeremy Hopkins، UNICEF Egypt Representative in Geneva، Switzerland، launched the cooperation between the two parties، with Magnom Properties committing to investing in impactful initiatives to improve the lives of young people in Egypt.

Internet access

Magnom Properties will support UNICEF in implementing Egypt’s vision to provide internet access to less connected communities across the country and facilitate their acquiring of essential skills and opportunities within the digital realm. Magnom Properties will also collaborate with UNICEF to facilitate access to information and digital training to young people، especially girls، to equip them with the necessary skills for better career opportunities and prospects of their choice.

Jeremy Hopkins، UNICEF Representative in Egypt، said: “We are delighted to have Magnom Properties as one of our partners supporting UNICEF in providing internet accessibility، digital training and skills to girls and boys in Egypt – critical in empowering children with better opportunities and to ensure that no child is left behind.” Hopkins added: “The use of community hotspots for such connectivity and training is a cost-efficient means of increasing access to information and developing young people’s capacity to shape their future and build a more prosperous community.”

The partnership with UNICEF builds on the various efforts and initiatives of Magnom Properties to support the next generation، including Magnom’s recently Youth Empowerment Program (YEP).
