Winner of many global brizes، Egyptian artist prof.Sara A.Abdoh، keynote speaker at Malaysia Digital Futures International Congress2023

The global awards winner Egyptian art historian and plastic artist prof. Sara A. Abdoh، Head of the Department of Sculpture، Architectural Formation and Restoration at the Faculty of Applied Arts، was selected to become a keynote speaker at the scientific conference، Malaysia Digital Futures International Congress 2023، which is organized by Multimedia University and provides a multidisciplinary platform for gathering scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds to disseminate ongoing research related to digital futures of our society، following the  2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Multimedia University in Malaysia chose the Egyptian art historian and plastic artist، prof.Sara A. Abdoh، Head of the Department of Sculpture، Architectural Formation and Restoration at the Faculty of Applied Arts to become the keynote speaker for the International Scientific Conference on the Digital Future 2023.

Prof.Sara A. Abdoh، the international awards winner art historian and fine artist was a keynote speaker at Malaysia the Digital Futures International Congress 2023 and gave a lecture entitled Art، Digital Technology and Sustainability.

Prof.Sara A. Abdoh talked، at the scientific conference، Malaysia Digital Futures International Congress 2023، about the importance of the role of arts in achieving sustainability in societies and the future challenges to face the problem of climate change by integrating digital technology in all fields، especially art. 

Prof.Sara A. Abdoh won international research prizes

She presented some of the results of her internationally awarded research projects، which won international research prizes from different countries and international institutions in different countries. 
Prof.Sara A. Abdoh was praised by Multimedia University which organized the scientific conference، Malaysia Digital Futures International Congress 2023 and by the Organizing Committee of Digital Futures International Congress، for her excellent lecture. 

Prof.Sara A. Abdoh indicated that Multimedia University، abbreviated as MMU، is the oldest and first ever full-fledged private research university in Malaysia and a government-linked university as it is owned by Telekom Malaysia.

She added that Multimedia University was ranked amongst the top 151-200 universities worldwide by QS World University Rankings in the subject of computer science and electrical engineering between 2014 and 2017 consecutively. 

In 2020، MMU is also ranked as one of the top ten Malaysian universities in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings. It was listed as Top 2 in the field of Computer Science and Top 3 in Engineering & Technology، and Business & Economics among Malaysian private universities، Prof.Sara A. Abdoh said.

The Center for European & Mediterranean Affairs selected the Egyptian artist  Prof.Sara A. Abdoh، Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Sculpture، Architectural Formation and Restoration at the Faculty of Applied Arts at Benha University،  as a main discussant for the 16th Annual International Conference on Mediterranean Studies، 3-6 April 2023، Athens، Greece، Organized by Athens Institute for Education & Research and sponsored by the Athens Journal of Mediterranean Studies.

 . The aim of the conference ،which chose the Egyptian artist Prof.Sara A. Abdoh، ،  is to bring together academics and researchers from  areas of Mediterranean Studies such as history arts،  archaeology، philosophy، culture،  sociology،  politics، international relations،  economics،  business،  sports، etc.

The Egyptian artist، Prof.Sara A. Abdoh، stated that the International Conference for Mediterranean Studies، held this year، in Athens، the capital of Greece،  discussed important global issues، including climate change and  reduce carbon emissions to protect the planet،  achieving sustainable development and the impact of the environment on architectural design and other studies related to restoration and preservation of heritage and monuments in order to implement sustainability in the countries of the Mediterranean region.

Prof.Sara A. Abdoh، the Egyptian artist، revealed that the International Conference on Mediterranean Studies،  sought the help of her as one of the specialized experts at the world level  to participate in the discussion of these prestigious researches in the conference from world ranked universities in terms of the quality of education and scientific research، such as the Metropolitan and Acadia Universities in Canada and the University of Granada in Spain.

She chaired the committee to discuss the research through Zoom video،  including a research presented by Sapienza University in Rome،  Italy،  which is the most important and oldest research university in Europe، and  discussed also other  global research such as  a research entitled Architectural Modernity in the Mediterranean and Canada  and another paper entitled Renovations and Restorations: Transformations in the House of Orpheus in the Greek city of Volubilis.

Prof.Sara A. Abdoh، the Egyptian artist، was also selected by the Indian INSO AWARDS Foundation for innovative research in the fields of engineering،  science and medicine، for awarding her the International Scientific Award in Engineering، Science and Medicine،  which is granted for the first time in the world to a plastic artist for her innovation of the research project that she presented in Italy on arts and technology while obtaining a training scholarship in Italy last year،  to become the first Egyptian historian and the only plastic artist to receive this international award granted by the Foundation to scholars worldwide.

The Egyptian artist، Prof.Sara A. Abdoh is considered the first artist to win an international scientific award in art as she chronicled and participated in the design of the first virtual architecture in the world by applying Metaverse technology during her scholarship in Italy that the pioneering artists and architects in Italy unanimously agreed that they were the first to hear for her innovative research project with the work of artists and architects when she was lecturing in Italy for her project on Technology، Art and Architecture.

Prof.Sara A. Abdoh is the youngest and first Egyptian artist to win a scholarship in Italy and international awards، that she received a high-level promotion to become the youngest department head in the faculties of fine and applied arts in Egyptian universities thanks to her unique scientific research worldwide، which she published in many international journals in Europe، the United States. and Asian countries.
