Egyptian fine artist Sarah Abd Rabbo، the only foreigner، to head Malaysian DIFCON 2024

The Egyptian fine artist، Professor Dr. Sara A.Rabbo Head of the Department of Sculpture، Architectural Formation and Restoration at the Faculty of Applied Arts at Benha University، is selected by the Malaysian Multimedia University (MMU) to become the main speaker for the International Scientific Congress for the Digital Future: Intelligence for a Sustainable Future (DIFCON 2024)، which is scheduled to be held from 23 to 25 July this year، for the second year in a row.


The Egyptian fine artist، Professor Dr. Sara A.Rabbo، Head of the Department of Sculpture، Architectural Formation and Restoration at the Faculty of Applied Arts at Benha University، is the only international member of the committee chairing and organizing this international conference (DIFCON 2024)، and the main speaker in the conferences that will be held in the main hall، which will address the field of arts، digital technology، artificial intelligence، and sustainability، and discuss its participants.


The Egyptian artist، Professor Dr. Sara A. Abdoh is chosen by the Malaysian Multimedia University (MMU) to co-chair and organize the International Congress on the Digital Future (DIFCON 2024) sponsored by the Multimedia Technological University in Malaysia and the Telekom Technological University، thanks to her international fame and wide success on the international level through her influential research in the field of integrating the arts with digital and virtual technology worldwide.

Abdoh، has a prominent role in the committee chairing and organizating the congress last year، although she is the only international member، but she is considered a symbol of inspiration and innovation in the field of art، its history and its relationship with advanced technology، confirmed the supervisors from the Malaysian Multimedia University MMU، who are responsible for the International Congress on the Digital Future (DIFCON 2024).

Abdoh Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Sculpture، Architectural Formation and Restoration at the Faculty of Applied Arts at Benha University، explained that the Multimedia University، abbreviated as MMU، is the oldest and first fully private research university ever in Malaysia and a government-linked university and is owned by Malaysia Telecom.


The Egyptian artist، Professor Dr. Sara A. Abdoh affirmed that the Multimedia University (MMU) in Malaysia focuses in its specializations on technology and artificial intelligence، and the Malaysian Ministry of Education has classified it as very competitive to the point that it comes in 14th place in the Times Foundation’s Higher Education World University ،TIMES، classification for higher education on the univesal level and the QS World University Rankings agency to classify universities around the world، according to university officials، who also confirmed that it was among the top 1،200 universities in the world last year.

Last year، the International Congress on the Digital Future، hosted by the Multimedia University، which is the oldest and first research university ever in Malaysia and focuses on technology and multimedia specializations، and includes ten colleges and an institute for graduate studies، chose the Egyptian artist، Professor Dr. Sara A. The Egyptian artist، Professor Dr. Sara A. Abdoh، spoke at the Multimedia University MMU in Malaysia during the International Scientific Conference on the Digital Future 2023، entitled Art، Digital Technology and Sustainability، about the importance of the role of the arts in achieving sustainability in societies and the future challenges in confronting the problems of climate change through the integration of digital technology in all fields، especially the arts، and she presented some of the results of her influential research projects، for which she won international research awards from various countries and international institutions in Europe، Asia، and others.

Abdoh، is internationally famous as she was chosen by the International Congress for Mediterranean Studies held in Athens، the capital of Greece، April 2023، as a main discussant for the international conference’s research، which included important global issues، including climate change and reducing carbon emissions to protect the planet، as well as achieving sustainable development، the impact of the environment on architectural design، and other studies related to the restoration and preservation of heritage and antiquities in order to implement sustainability in the countries of the Mediterranean region.

The International Conference on Mediterranean Studies is organized

in Athens، the capital of Greece، by the Athens Institute for Education and Research، and sponsored by the Athens Journal of Mediterranean Studies. It aims to bring together academics and researchers from various countries of the world who are interested in studies of the Mediterranean region، including history، arts، archaeology، philosophy، culture، sociology، politics، international relations، economics، business، sports، Climate change and others.


The Indian INSO AWARDS Foundation for innovative research in the fields of engineering، science and medicine selected the Egyptian artist Sara A.Abdoh to award her the International Scientific Award in Engineering، Science and Medicine، which is awarded for the first time in the world to a fine artist for innovating the research project that she presented in Italy on arts and technology during her training scholarship in Italy the previous year، and she became the only Egyptian historian and pastic artist to receive this international award that the Foundation grants to only scholars around the world.

Dr. Sara A. Abdoh is the first fine artist to win an international scientific award in art، as she chronicled and participated in the design of the first virtual architecture in the world by applying Metaverse technology، which was created by the American company Microsoft، which changed its name to Meta Company، during her scholarship in Italy، where she confirmed that the pioneers artists and architects in Italy unanimously agreed that it was the first time they heard about her innovative research project with the works of artists and architects when she was giving lectures in Italy about her research project on merging and integrating technology with art and architecture.


Sara A. Abdoh، the only artist and art historian from Egypt، was able to chronicle the first virtual architecture in the world using the Metaverse application after she won a unique grand prize given to her by the Italian Embassy in Egypt in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Foundation in Rome and she was granted a scholarship and training as a courtesy of the oldest arts academy in Italy.

She was given an invitation to study in Italy thanks to her fame as an international arbitrator of scientific research in research institutions and international universities، and her unique scientific research at the world level، which she published in many international journals in European and Asia countries as well as the United States.
