Tatweer Misr lent a hand to a state-owned hospital to combat coronavirus
Tatweer Misr unleashed one month ago a charity campaign under the slogan “ We are building life” with the aim of reconstructing and revamping homes in the Upper Egypt Kafr Abdel Khalek village in Minya governorate, according to chairperson and managing director Ahmed Shalaby.
Supporting the state during coronavirus crisis is becoming “ mandatory and all private sector companies must obey the call,” said Shalaby addressing the TV show of “ Every day” aired on Extra News Channel.“ The company has supported the government in many respects, namely providing cairo-based state-owned Kasr Al-Ainy Hospital with proactive and medical supplies not available at the hospital.”“ We supplied hospitals with key gears such as ventilators. And, in collaboration with Ahl Masr Organization, we provided all supplies necessary for Kasr El-Einy Hospital. We also provided daily meals to hospital staff and patients as well as, protective gears and clothes.”
This initiative has been floated by Tatweer Misr’s Human Resources Department with staff insisting on donating a portion of their salaries to irregular daily workers reeling from coronavirus, he concluded.
