MUD’s societal role goes hand in hand with its developmental role, chairman
While highlighting the remarkable societal role played by Mostakbal Urban Developments, chairman and managing director Eng. Esam Nasef said that the company has installed up to three intensive care units for the benefit of Ahl Masr Trauma and Burn Hospital free of charge.
“ Projects of Mostakbal City are currently running uninterrupted with each developer putting in place a rotational shiftwork and providing standby ambulances,” said he.
MUD has notified contractors and developers working in the city to take the utmost precautionary and safety measures inclusive of the use of masks and sanitizers, he added.
Nasef said that he is closely monitoring the construction works of Mostakbal City’s infrastructure,is always ready to cater todevelopers and contractors needs and to respond promptly to emergencies.
A lengthy meeting was held recently with companies assigned to carry out utilities and infrastructure in the city with the aim of ensuringall projects are sticking to delivery schedules, he elaborated.
" This meeting takes place periodically in order to keep track with all updates impacting the delivery schedules, as the first phase will see the delivery of the first suburb of the city built over 500 acres. This phase of the project consists of Green Square and Laviner projects developed by Al-Ahly Sabour for Real Estate Development, Ardic Developments’ Zezenia and a portion of Wadi Degla Developments’ Neopolis.”
The first phase of the Commercial & Leisure Complex, situated at the center of Mostakbal City over 150 acres, is set to kick-off soon. This upscale complex consists of a quality sporting club, food court area, caffes, sporting training academies and gardens. MUD has finalized the complex’ master plan.
Also, MUD is spurring multi-purpose activities, as it is constructing a commercial lane with a two-storey building to serve commercial purposes. Another one will be built to serve administrative purposes. A third one will contain housing units.
This commercial lane, due to pass through the city’s entrance and the main square of phase-one project, is scheduled to finalize in the span of 12 months.
While lauding the Egyptian government’s handling of coronavirus crisis, Nasef said that the precautionary measures taken by the state helped cut infection cases to level far below those of other countries.
Additionally, the economic decisions taken by the state proved effective in maintaining the positive indicators recorded recently by the Egyptian economy, notably the Central Bank of Egypt’s decision cutting the interest rates.
