SODIC sells New Zayed’s Karmell on the first day of its launch
The Sixth of October Development and Investment Company “SODIC” announced the sale of all units of the first phase of the “Karmell” project in New Zayed during the first day of the project’s launch.
The company said in a statement that the Karmell project occupies an area of 240 acres and is the second SODIC project to be launched in the new plot of 500 acres in Zayed, which is developed by SODIC in partnership with the New Urban Communities Authority, after the company successfully launched the Vye project.
She added that the Karmell project is inspired by the town of Carmel-by-the-sea in California, USA, and is designed in the form of a small town with an easy and simple lifestyle, and it is a charming town with shops spread throughout the project.

The first phase of the project includes the launch of a number of modern homes, which include fully finished two-story houses with suspended stairs and have two designs: Garden House and Sky House, which allow residents to enjoy the privacy of life in villas within residential buildings, in addition to Expandable Urban Villas, These are efficiently designed to include private areas for parents / husbands as well as “Garden rooms”.
Located between the Vye project and the main hub of Zayed, Karmell benefits from its prime location within a larger project, as well as easy accessibility through the main road network linking the project with the highways and surrounding neighborhoods.
New Zayed is considered a natural and urban extension of the Sheikh Zayed neighborhood, and the new area is characterized by fast and easy access to the neighborhoods of East Cairo and the North Coast through the new road network that has been established in the surrounding areas. It is expected that this area will benefit from its proximity to the new Sphinx airport and the Grand Egyptian Museum, whose opening will lead to the prosperity of the entire region in an unprecedented way.
