Enwan launches a mall with Smart Screen Glasses
Enwan Developments is set to launch Egypt’s first mall with Smart Screen Glasses, the first of its projects to be built in the New Administrative Capital.
Chairperson of Enwan Developments Eng. Mohamed Salem said that the commercial mall provides hi-tech services, in line with the state’s re-orientation towardstechnology and smart cities.
With plans put in place for turning NAC into the largest smart city in the Middle East, Enwan Developments readied itself to equip the mall with all novel technological services, he maintained.
“ The mall provides multiple services, as its internal and external facades are made to display advertisements,” said he, noting that its offices, stores and garages are run by a highly controlled standby power system.
Additionally, security cameras, central audio system, and an advanced fire fighting system are installed.
Enwan Developments was careful enough to equip the mall with an array of amenities coming together for the first time in one place, including central air-conditioners, central satellite, solar energy systems, panoramic elevators, and electric stairs.
The mall also encompasses fully-finished offices and permanent technology exhibitor zone.
Leading consulting offices were tapped for the installation of smart screens that help guide visitors to locations of shops, offices and display ads of stores, he elaborated.
The mall comprises 8 stories and 3 underground floors with each specializing in a particular technology.
The mall is located in Downtown district over an area of 4000 m2, directly adjacent to Al Masa Hotel, Central Monorail Station and the Governmental suburb.
The mall, for the first time in Egypt, has administrative and commercial units with Smart Units, which enable customers to control their own units via mobile phones, he explained.
