The exhibition will take place in the period between the 17th – 20th of June 2021

The International Exhibition of Materials and Technologies for Finishing and Construction (Turnkey Expo), opens its doors for the second consecutive year at the Cairo International Convention Center – Nasr City in the period between the 17th and 20th of June. The exhibition features a line-up of major names in the finishing materials, products, and technologies field; it also provides target audiences with the chance to get a closer look at the latest this specific sector has to offer. The event is organized by Business Plus Fairs and Vision Fairs, two of the leading trade fair organizers in the Middle East and Africa.

Turnkey Expo is among the most significant exhibitions in the field of finishing solutions and is considered a platform serving the construction and real-estate development sectors, thanks to the myriad of new-to-market and comprehensive finishing solutions it offers. This industry is witnessing a paradigm shift in light of the government’s efforts towards expanding urban development as part of its vision for 2030. With the aim to accommodate the increasing population as well as attract investments, the government is working to employ state-of-the-art technologies in the development of mega cities across the country, including the New Administrative Capital, its most promising project built in line with international standards.

The exhibition acts as a channel through which an assortment of industry players in Egypt, the Middle East, and North Africa have the chance to showcase the latest in finishing materials and floor & wall cladding. Turnkey Expo visitors across different marketing segments and backgrounds, as well as those who are curious about available finishing solutions will have a chance to benefit from competitive prices.

Meanwhile, 3000 young construction and development enthusiasts, interior designers, as well as newly-graduated architects have an opportunity to meet with, and learn from the leading experts through a total of 32 lectures that will take place over the course of four days with the goal of exchanging knowledge and experiences.

“Recent years have seen the Egyptian government draw a new urban map where unique mega national projects, in line with international endeavors, represent a paradigm shift and a significant step forward. In its second edition, Turnkey Expo offers a model that supports the construction and development sectors through providing the latest in finishing solutions and serving real-estate developers and their companies, while also providing exhibitors with the chance to put their products and services on display,” said Karim Shalaby, Vice Chairman at Vision Fairs, the event’s organizer. He later added that “in order to ensure maximum value for both exhibitors and visitors, the event will host a number of meetings to establish bilateral business ties between major real-estate developers, construction companies, consulting firms, suppliers, and designers.”

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition’s first edition witnessed immense success as it featured 42 companies and hosted a total of 10,000 visitors. This year’s four-day event is expected to receive 25,000 visitors, especially due to the increasing growth in Egypt’s real estate development industry. According to a report by Fitch Ratings, Egypt’s construction and development sector is expected to continue growing over the next ten years, with an average annual growth rate of 9% between 2020 and 2024. The report also expects that by 2029, Egypt will possess the region’s biggest construction and development sector. Meanwhile, the report states that the value of this industry in Egypt is currently worth USD 25 billion, expecting that number to increase by 2029 to reach USD 89 billion, allowing Egypt to represent 30% of the region’s industry value.
