Owner of Siesta Marina Hotel Nagi Habib said that the inclusion of Marina village into the jurisdiction of New Urban Communities Authority, the Western North Coast Development Authority, will help resolve chronicproblems that squeezed the village in the past years, arising from conflict of jurisdiction between the management company and the village authority.

Under the new measure, the village is expected to rebound vigorouslyin terms of quality of services, helping it return to its glory days of 1990s, he said. “Prompt actions must be taken as regards upgrading its utilities, streets, cleanliness, placing restrictions on renting and rejuvenating recreational activities such as parties and splendid events that were instrumental in crystalizing the village fame and sophistication.”

The village’s unique location, services and lakes are matchless, prodding utmost care to be taken in order to generate the targeted yields, he explained.

North Coast’s development and reconstruction drive spearheaded by the state, together with launching New Alamein City, will benefit all North Coast villages and any pertinent projects.

Siesta Marina Hotel saw a surge in occupancy rates, whether in summer or winter, with the flocking of engineers, businessmen, contractors and visitors to New Alamein City and the execution of developmental projects there, he added.

“The hotel is keen to upgrade the services given to visitors all year round.”
