Kwai Launches “Say No” In-App Campaign, Driving Meaningful Content and Positive Behavioral Changes
Kwai, the region’s leadingshort-formvideo platform, is reaffirming its ongoing commitment to protecting its community and to being at the forefront of positive, purposeful conversations with the launch of “Say No” on September 14, 2022.
The scripted drama in-app campaign is focused on showcasing instances of negative behavior that take place in our society and communicating different ways to effectively combat them.
Kwai’s ever-growing network of drama content creators are being challenged to film a scene in which they build the courage to object this kind of behavior and to share it on the platform using the #Say_No hashtag.
Instances of social misconduct that are being spotlighted through this campaign include, but are not limited to, assault, bullying, cheating, littering, damaging public property, and spreading fabricated news online. Participants are also encouraged to share content that has a cultural relevance and caters to diverse age groups and demographics in order to captivate wide audiences across the region.
Essentially, through this campaign, Kwai is drawing greater attention to the immoral actions that we often times overlook in our day-to-day lives on the pretext that they don’t directly concern us – aiming to foster a more community-oriented, inclusive, and compassionate mindset among its users.
This campaign comes after Kwai’s recent “The Victim” campaign, which raised awareness on social media blackmailing and its immense impact. Through such initiatives and through enabling its content creators to educate, inform, and inspire when it comes to topics and issues that truly matter, Kwai is not only promoting positive behavioral changes amongst its pool of users but is also playing an instrumental role in driving the betterment of our society at large.
