Creative Industry Summit kick-starts its 14th edition under the slogan " The Creative Economy"

Creative Industry Summit launches its 14th edition under the slogan "the Creative Economy” for three days from September 27 to 29, 2022.

Creative Industry Summit,  the sole main platform for creative industries in the Middle East and North Africa, marks the achievements that took place on the domain of creative economy with a large scale participation from hunderds of specialists in creative industries, besides think tanks, businessmen and innovators in all fields.

Creative Industry Summit is Egypt’s first platform that was launched back in 2014 to attract highly-regarded specialists from all over the world. Over the past seven years, CIS managed to bring in more than 14,000 attendees, 1,600 speakers and 55 exhibitors from a myriad select of creative companies and agencis, as it gave the chance for several leading innovators  to deliver up to 420 lectures, 84 seminars and 10 workshops. 

CIS is expected to host this year a bunch of top world and regional as well as Egyptian experts. Speakers at CIS include chairman of Tourism Promotion Authority Mr. Amr El Kady, deputy chief executive at EFE-Egypt Ms Nora Toma, the world-renowed speaker Mr. Mark Adams, 1st Deputy Chairman and Head of Innovation Department at Vice Media, etc. The sessions will tackle various vital topics  on creative economy in more than 25 areas, such as promotion, advertisement, entrepreneurship, arts, designing, photography, e-commerce, cinema, music, and content-making industries, etc. 

On her part, co-partner founder at CIS Ms Mai Salama said:” We take pride in being the 1st creative platform and will pursue pioneering the creative industry. CIS will discuss this year the concept of creative economy, the first of its kind to be introduced in Egypt and the Middle East, so as to underscore the role innovation and creativity can play across all fields of economy.

“ The 14th edition  encompasses  a number of key sessions and workshops which discuss important topics with local, regional and international experts in up to 25 fields. It will also shed light on success stories in various creative industries and will set up an open-source platform with the purpose of keeping the public updated  about  inspiring ideas and projects, and linked with colleagues in any industry whatsoever,   with the aim of upscaling the industry in Egypt," she maintained.

It's noteworthy that CIS, launched back in 2014 and still in play for  more than 8 years, managed to enrich the participants' creative thinking and to endow the youth with the kind of creative innovative  thinking that enables them upscale their respective businesses and cope with the rapidly changing developments in their area of interest, by means of monitoring the futuristic updates in areas of creative industry and qualifying participants on how to tackle and make use of  them in upscaling their businesses.
