Forbes، the American magazine for financial and economic markets، published a list of the 100 most powerful developper who lead companies in the real estate sector in the Middle East region this year، and the most prominent among them are 20 Egyptian companies led by Talaat Mostafathat، appeared in different ranks in this list.
Forbes، the American magazine relied upon several criteria to rank the 100 leaders، including total assets، market value، revenues where available، the value or size of the land portfolio، the number of units owned by the company، the value of the projects it has completed، the value of projects under construction، and the companies’ commitment to delivering properties to their customers.
Strong growth، population increase، and government investment help greatly in enhancing demand for real estate
Forbes، the American magazine، believes that the real estate sector is expected to achieve promising potential this year in the long term، especially since the real estate market is one of the most important sectors in any economy and affects most consumers through their movements and changing their homes، as the strength of economic growth، population increase، and government investment help a lot in enhancing demand for real estate units، since Egypt is the most populous countries in the region.
Forbes، the American magazine، revealed that governments، companies and semi-governmental developers are investing in real estate projects in the Middle East region، especially in Egypt، the largest economic country in the region، as these property projects give a strong impetus to the building and construction sector in Egypt، which is one of the largest countries in the Middle East region and which is also distinguished by positive future outlook within the next few years.
Hisham Talaat Mostafa ranked 7th in the Middle East and 1st in Egypt
Forbes، the American magazine، indicated that Hisham Talaat Mostafa، owner of Talaat Mostafa Group Holding (TMG Holding)، topped the leaders of real estate companies in Egypt، as he came in seventh place on the list of the 100 most powerful developpers leading the companies in the real estate sector this year in the Middle East region، followed by Yasseen Mansour، president of Palm Hills Developments ( PHD)، who appeared in 21st place on the list.
Omar El Hamamsy، CEO of Orascom Development Egypt (ODE)، is in 29th place، then Abdallah Sallam، President and CEO of Madinet Masr، came in 37th place، while Ayman Amer، General Manager of the Sixth of October Development and Investment (SODIC)، in 38th place، according to the American Forbes magazine.
Hassan Morshedi participated with Nour Morshedi، co-CEOs of Al Morshedy Group، the 42nd on the list of the 100 most powerful real estate developers، and Mohamed Allam، CEO of Hassan Allam Properties (HAP)، ranked 52nd on the list of the American Forbes magazine.

The Egyptian developer Haitham Mohamed Abdel Azim، CEO of Ora Developers Egypt، came in 56th place on the list of the 100 most powerful businessmen who lead companies in the real estate sector، followed by three relatives: Mohamed Hani El Assal، Mohamed Khaled El Assal، and Karim Khaled El Assal، CEO and Managing Director; CEO and Managing Director; Executive Director of Misr Italia Properties (MIP).

Forbes، the American magazine، concluded the list by Karim Shafei، co-founder and president of the Ismailia for Real Estate Investment Co.، who came in 97th place، then Dr. Amged Sebak، Managing Director and cofounder of Amer Group، in 98th place، and finally in 99th place was Eng. Ayman Elkousey، Managing Director and CEO of Midar co.
