NAC's Pioneer Plaza to become operational next month

Pioneer Plaza, situated on Al-Amal Axis, is 100 percent finished and its pilot operation will kick in next month, becoming the first mall to be handed over and functional in the New Administrative Capital ahead of schedule, according to Global Pioneer.

"Pioneer Plaza is the first project that becomes operational, as it has all amenities and is situated on Al Amal Axis over an area of 20,000 sqm at a cost of EGP1bn, all of which is financed solely by Global Pioneer," according to a statement issued by Global Pioneer.

Together with being the first energy-efficient building in NAC, facades of Pioneer Plaza are designed and carried out to serve the purpose of resisting heat and fires.

 

All sustainability concepts have been tapped while constructing the building using world-standard designs by Pioneer Abu Dhabi Engineering Co.

 The mall falls under the supervision of a joint Egyptian, Emirates, Italian administration,  setting up a competition-friendly environment.

Also, Pioneer Plaza attracted a plethora of world-class companies which wish to open affiliate quarters in Egypt. The company said that it sold nearly 50% of the mall abroad.

 

That said, renewable energy utilities ( solar energy) spread over  the entire  building area and are linked with NAC's power grid.

Moreover, the vertical and horizontal movement was fathomed using world-standard specifications. Upscale Elevators were imported and set up by Finland.

All passageways inside the mall were designed and implemented using fire-resistant-glass, the latest finishing system in modern architectural buildings. This system provides day-long natural lightening.

Further still, garages run by automatic control systems were carried out, as all spaces inside the building and the parks are monitored using modern surveillance system that allows data storage for more than 6 months and provides a 24-hour protection for the whole building.

Global Pioneer lauded Egypt's favorable, promising investment climate  under the leadership of President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi and paid tribute to co-workers at the New Administration Capital Company, New Administrative Capital Authority and all executive state bodies for the endless cooperation and support it received and led to finishing off and running the whole project in record time.
