The New Administrative Capital is set to host the new headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF)
In adherence to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives، a momentous step was taken on November 30، 2023. A memorandum of understanding was inked، designating approximately 22 acres in the New Administrative Capital for the development of the new headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The responsibility for this significant construction has been entrusted to the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD)، estimating the project to be finished within 3 years.
Post-signing، Dr. Ashraf Sobhy، Minister of Youth and Sports، and Dr. Patrice Motsepe، President of CAF، expressed their heartfelt gratitude to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Egypt for their steadfast support for sports and African football.
Eng. Khaled Abbas، Chairman and Managing Director of ACUD، pledged a swift completion of the new headquarters، ensuring a contemporary and sustainable design that befits the stature of the Confederation of African Football
