Home sales in the US fell in April as buyers contended with high prices، fluctuating mortgage rates

Sales of previously owned homes fell 3.4% in April from March to a seasonally adjusted، annualized pace of 4.28 million units، according to the National Association of Realtors. Sales were 23.2% lower than April of 2022. There is still strong demand، but several factors are weighing on potential homebuyers.
